have been supplying plants and horticultural sundries to landscape
gardeners, forestry and horticultural establishments, county
councils, building projects, golf courses and private individuals
since 1992.
Formerly known as Thurlow Plant Agency we became a limited company
in 2002 when the name changed to R, E & L Thurlow Ltd, run by
Ron Thurlow his son Steve and Steve's wife Lynne.
With a combined horticultural
experience running into several decades, Ron and Steve use their extensive knowledge
and experience to source the highest quality plant stock from
the most reputable growers / nurseries in the UK.
We are not a garden centre or a nursery, we are an independent
plant sourcing company, specialising primarily in the supplying
of native trees and hedging plants such as Crataegus Monogyna
(Hawthorn / Quickthorn), Betula Pendula (Silver Birch), Prunus
Rotundifolia (Laurel) and Taxus Bacata (Yew).
However we offer a one-stop shop for all of your horticultural
needs, including trees, shrubs, herbaceous plants, alpines,
aquatics and sundry items such as canes, tree guards, stakes
